4th of July

HAPPY FOURTH!
To celebrate Daddy got us some festive donuts and Mommy painted the girls nails in red, white, and blue. We all got dressed in our 4th of July best, watched some Liberty Kids, and had our annual 4th of July walk.

Then the Martin's came over for Fried Chicken/Potato Salad, Red/White/Blue Kabobs, and Nana's FAMOUS FLAG CAKE! We read the Declaration of Independence which has to be a new tradition, considering the kids loved joining in at the end and we all learned a little something.
Then we were off to the Martin's for sparklers and Shea's Firework Show.
We even spoiled the kids and let them do Popits & Popsicles and stay up late listening to the popping sounds as many others celebrated this land we love.

Truly Blessed to live in this country.
And I hope our children will never forget the many ancestors they have that made this country the place it is today.
