Piper loves her Mommy best but goes to most people she recognizes easily, except if Mom is leaving; stranger danger is in high alert too.
Still 6 teeth...
She's getting better with pinching yay! And hates to hear ouch or no so rarely scratches anymore, unless your randomly letting her grab your face.
So her hair is growing little by little!!! And that little she has apparently tickles her ears so she reaches up and plays and pulls at it. Which is kinda adorable but there's so little of it I don't want her to pull it out! So we distract her from it when we can.
She's sipping through a straw! Yay! Which makes going out a bit easier.

Stairs, shes addicted. They pretty much have to be blocked off 24/7 now which is no fun for the rest of us. And she has no interest in learning to to go down steps, although I try. Once she made it up so quick before I got the gate up I didn't know she was up and then heard her screaming. I found her at the top of the steps just sitting in the dark wailing. No attempts to walk down the steps... cautious I tell you! But I wish she'd learn down as well as she knows up soon, (so Shea could quite worrying, the stairs scare him the worst).
Waving, just barely!
Exploring; she's getting a bit more adventurous and has even shimmied under the bench one time in an attempt to reach the kitchen. Unfortunately she got stuck and hasn't attempted it again!
Opening cabinets, not my most favorite thing.
Playing with the remote or phone.
Wipes when she can get them...
Watching the big kids, especially when they are all dancing and being crazy. She will do a little dance or try to chase, or just fall backwards in laughter as she walks around hands high head baby it's hilarious! She thrives off their laughter!
Little by little water, bath time and all, are becoming her friends (even a little lotion after bath isn't so bad). Little doses. Little splashes. Okay no splashes please. But calm little baths in solitude are her thing. And enjoying running water while washing her hands is pretty popular too.
Making noise at church! Especially when it gets real quite!
Barbies... I'm so scared she's gonna jab herself in the eye with an arm or leg or something. But all in all they fascinate her!
BOOKS. She loves books, she can occupy herself with a book for a good amount of time and they come in mighty handy for church. She is probably our biggest book baby.

Hates seeing the gate go up.
Being changed.
The vacuum. Although Shea says she's only scared when I vacuum...
Strangers
Watching people leave
When Mommy doesn't want to wake up at 5 AM
Driving in the car/car seat
Headbands... sad day. Although they come in handy to suck on. But they are ridiculously annoying around the head and if pulled down to the neck.
Getting yanked out of the bathroom
Being too cold or hot, she's very temperture sensitive.
Any noise while she sleeps.

Daddy taught Piper to give kisses! So of course he takes full credit and shows off every chance he gets! He loves it and we all enjoy it too! (You say "give me kiss" and she'll lean her lips to yours while staring at you (it takes lots of concentration), sometimes tongue and all! Ha!
Mommy loves her Piper shivers, usually when she gets excited she gives a little shiver sometimes she does it when she's cold too. But I love it either way every time. Something about it just makes me laugh. And I love all her poses. As she rests her hand on her cheek and smiles to me, and walks around like that for a good minute. Or when she arches back and just stares up just to smile, like what's up there I forget. Or when she's sleeping and covers her face.
Connor loves hearing her talk. Babbling is always irresistible, we love it. And Connor loves telling me she said a "new word".
Bella loves helping! She's a huge helper. It's just how she works and thrives and I love it! So she gets Piper's bottle every morning and her and Syd play make her smile in the crib. (Well they try.) She also loves getting her snacks whenever she's fussy, or keeping her safe. She's so protective and sweet. She doesn't mind playing with her while Mom does chores or helping guard her from he kitchen or stairs or getting diapers and wipes for Mom. I don't know how I'd survive without her and I'm sure Piper feels the same.
Sydney loves announcing Pipers accomplishments over and over and over and over again so for the last month or so since she took her first steps she's been saying "Look look Pipers walking Pipers walking" or every time she sits in her yellow chair Sydney says "Look Pipers sitting she's sitting. Oh so cute Piper sits." She's Piper's biggest cheerleader and I hope it lasts forever! I've never seen a girl more proud of her sister!
