Yesterday this happened.
What a mix of emotions!
Last Day |
She has loved waking up early and running upstairs to wake me to get her ready.
She has loved working on workbooks after we drop Connor off at school and wait to drop her off.
She has loved making new friends.
She has loved dancing and singing the songs she learns at school.
She has loved her teachers doting on her.
She has loved running to me during pick up, and walking hand in hand with her sister or chasing after her wild sister.
She has loved bringing home billions and billions and BILLIONS of things that she makes at school and showing every. single. one. of them to me. (And she has a fit or cries if she sees me throw ANY of them away, so I have to be sneaky.)
AND she loves that by ending preschool it means Kindergarten is even closer!
It was the sweetest ceremony in the High School auditorium. |
Her Main Teacher, Mrs. Woodward. |
I have loved getting her ready all cute everyday, hair and all!
I have loved how happy she is most mornings!
I have loved watching her walk up with her backpack on like such a big girl, chatting it up or playing with her friends as she waits.
I have loved how fun and excited her teachers are.
I have loved what good little friends she has made.
I have loved how she gets out all her crafting, painting, play dohing, and all things messy urges out at school!
I have loved how excited she is to learn to read especially! (My little reader in the making!)
AND I LOVE how ready she is emotionally, socially, and academically for Kindergarten!
I really was impressed with the High School Preschool program, even though it is a little weird since it is my old High School. There is no doubt I am excited to have Sydney go next (when she is 4... I need a break...ha)!
