Cunningham Falls Hike

This hike was one I remember going on as a kid.

When I was a kid I loved climbing the rocks.

I loved looking WAY up high.

I loved leading the pack through the trail.

I loved finding hidden treasures.

I loved watching my Dad carry the babies on his shoulders.

I loved posing for pictures.

I loved pointing everything out.

This was the worst part of the hike because the kids
wanted to go climb the rocks like all the other people.
But Shea likes to obey rules so they couldn't.

I loved seeing the falls and touching the water.
(When we were kids there were no signs saying we couldn't and the only rule we had was not to go too far. And stay near Dad.)

Piper was ready to walk on the way back.

Afterwards when we were kids we would make a fire and sit for a bit while we ate dinner.
Instead we found a place to picnic and it was pretty much a perfect way to end the day.
