We have wanted to go Apple Picking with the Martin's since the season began and we have had a few plans that fell through but finally made it.
We ended up going to Gaver's Farm at the start of October.
The farm was very busy and had a lot going on, what with a fall festival, pumpkins, apples, kids games/playgrounds and more. I was a little worried about how distracted that would make the kids but all in all they did great they did ask about the other stuff at the beginning but after that understood and we all had a lot of fun.
Mom photo attempt...
Connor's ridiculous stick find... which we took away moments later.
Bella's Golden feather which she wanted everyone to make a wish on.
Amberlee was a champ and helped the kids pick the juciest apples up top!
"Heavy" - Sydney
That was an understatement, we filled our bag and my arms had a work out.
Sydney's favorite part was running up and down the orchard.
Riding the wagon back was definitely a relief considering it was a lot hotter then it should be in October and I totally overdressed the kids... whoops!
On the way out we grabbed apple doughnuts to enjoy at home and let me tell you, by far the best part! Bella and I ate pretty much the whole box in that one sitting though...
