Daily

I am prepping for Piper and since my Mom will be on kid duty I made her our basic schedule to give her a little something to go off of while we are busy in the hospital for a couple days with Miss Piper. I also realized it's a fun little peek at our daily lives right now, I'm sure it will take quite the spin when Piper joins us but for now it goes something like this...

Schedule:

7- 7:30 am
Everyone usually wakes. If not, wake Connor up between 7:45 - 8 am to get him to school on time.
Sydney needs a diaper change right away!

Eat breakfast (waffles, pop-tarts, cinnamon toast, cereal).
Brush teeth.

Then it's time to get dressed.
Pack Connor's lunch.

8:30 am
I like to leave to take Connor to school at 8:30 am. But he doesn't need to be there till 8:50 am.

The girls play and watch tv.
(Some shows Sydney likes are: bubble guppies, little bear, room on the broom; all can be found on prime.)

Between 11-12 pm
Lunch time (Watch Sydney eat she can be messy, I usually give her 3 or 4 things like cheese, fruit, rolled deli meat, chips/crackers, granola bar, a little treat. Bella can eat the same or have a sandwich and fiber one brownie is her treat. She can tell you what she wants or you can just give her lunch, and what they don't eat I keep and save for when they want to munch later. I also give them milk for lunch.)

12-1 pm
Diaper change. Sydney goes down for Nap. She usually sleeps for 1.5-2 hrs. If she wakes early I let her cry it out but it's up to you.
Bella can have electronics. (Like the Tablet, or pbs kids on the computer) BUT this is also a great time for play doh or coloring without Sydney getting involved. And she can do these independently.
After nap I check Syd's diaper.

3 PM
PICK CONNOR UP FROM SCHOOL
There is a line so I get there at 3:10 at the latest and wait. I bring books in the car for the girls. Connor doesn't get out till 3:30 ish usually a little after. You just drive to the cone that he's standing at. When you stop completely he can get in. He will need help getting into your van.

After school Connor gets to pick a show to watch and gets a snack, usually his leftover lunch or some chips or something. He's starving sometimes. So I usually just give him a bowl for snack and some milk and then have him wait for dinner. But you can give him more if you'd like, he just might not eat much for dinner. Whatever works.
Also I let him have some electronic time now too. Tablet, computer games (check on him if he plays armor games- just ask regularly is this a good game, would mom like it, can I watch?)

5 PM
I make dinner. I know this is early so if you decide later is easier that's fine. Easy Dinner ideas: pizza, spaghetti/ ravioli - no sauce, ramen,
I try to give some fruit cup (which is messy usually) or veg with dinner. Veggie ideas they will eat are carrots(small thin ones are the only ones Syd can eat), mini cucumbers serve as is, canned corn.
Just FYI Sydney doesn't like pasta she just plays with it usually, so I give her a repeat of lunch.

5:30 - 6 pm
Eat dinner.

6- 6:30 pm
You can start a movie turn off lights after dinner and insist on sitting still. This is the easiest way for me to end the night.

7-7:30 pm
Change diaper. Sydney gets changed into pjs, brush teeth, and goes to bed. She likes twinkle twinkle little star sung to her.

8 pm
After Sydney is down, after the movie is over.
Connor gets changed into pjs. Bella HAS to go potty before bed and then gets changed into pjs. And they each get to pick a story to have read to them. And then they get a song.

They may ask for phones or the tablet when they go to bed but that can be a problem because I only let them have it for 30 mins and usually only when they are in bed before 8pm. So you can just say sorry mom said no it's too late.

FYI
After going to the bathroom ask them to make sure they flushed, and ask if they washed their hands, if they say yes ask to smell them.
AND the bathroom needs to be closed ALL the time, Sydney likes to play in there if she gets the chance.

Good luck!
