Piper is starting to respond to her own name with a sneaky little smile for the most part. She loves to squirm and wiggle, which as you can imagine makes changing quite fun for both involved. She's in 3-6 month clothing for the most part and in size 2 diapers. She has super cold feet, like purple! So we do our best to keep socks on her all the time! Piper is a pretty calm and easy baby, she is happy playing with toys or her sisters and making sure she is in appropriate mommy distance. She does get fussy if mom leaves and nursing is a comfort addiction. I feel like maybe she's starting to wean herself lately. She's hungrier and I feel like I'm not producing enough for her growing appetite but maybe that's a call for more solids. Either way it seems as if we're transitioning, what to? Beats me. And solids always make her smile and make her belly fill up a lot faster! She is finally gaining weight as the doctor would like to see and weighed in at:
Weight- 14 lbs 5 oz (2%)The Johnny Jump Up has become a life savor lately well for a bit now really, and even though it's not Piper's favorite thing she deals with it for short bursts. So when we're getting ready, it helps a lot so that our hands are free! She absolutely loves when Sydney plays with her and swings her a bit in it too.
Height- 26 in (4%)
She seriously is a quiet little doll most times, especially around strangers "stranger danger high in effect"; and we just love holding her and rubbing her little genie head!
Drinking from a bottle independently and has loved doing so for over a month now. Sippys not so much.
Mommy obsessed. Daddy is oh so jealous. Mommy could use a break! For reals!
Being upside down!
Food. The taste the feel the crumble. The search to find more and more!
She is a great applesauce pouch eater and now that baby food comes in pouches too it works out perfect. She gets giddy just seeing Mom pull one out.
Following Mom around EVERYWHERE!
Fingers and Toes!
Pulling off her bows, although she doesn't quite realize their there most of the time.

DISLIKES
Going to bed. But you know what it's a fact of life and between 6:30 and 7:30 she falls asleep right away but if she's over tired then it's a screaming nightmare and she usually wakes up right when I'm going to bed, instead of her normal 6-7am time.
Grabbing. Okay okay this is more Moms dislike but seriously I just clipped your nails and your incessant grabbing of my face while nursing has led to many a scratch in the most uncomfortable of places. Eyebrow, nose, chin, lip. It's not fun let me tell you.
Vacuum or the hair dryer. Both usually cause tears.
Being blocked off from Mom.
She officially is at the "sticks everything in her mouth" stage and has been for awhile now and we're constantly squishing her cheeks together and diving our fingers in to find some itty bitty piece of something or other that only she can find. She hates it. But hey we're not fans either.
"Seriously though feeding me more food is only going to keep me happy for so long." |
THE PIPER LOOK. Her face 98% of the time. |
Daddy loves tickling her; her chinny chin chin, her belly, her back, her toes!
Mommy loves how she shakes her head and body when she gets excited it is seriously ADORABLE! AND I LOVE HER PIPER LOOK!
Connor loves kisses from Piper.
Bella loves when Mommy makes Piper talk by moving her chinny chin chin. Piper is getting tired of this antic though. "I also loves her giggle and her sneezes." -Bella
Sydney loves squeezing Piper. She is seriously IN LOVE with her sister and her heart just bursts with hugs for her! Although as much as even Piper loves it Mommy has to remind Sydney to be gentle.
