SYDNEY is TWO

We celebrated Sydney's 2nd birthday a little early, so that everyone could celebrate with us.
We had a Bubble Guppies party per request, we hear "guppies guppies" a few zillion times a day!
She's mildly obsessed.

In the morning we began with the kids helping me cut out things for the party, making cards and decorating for the party.
They were so excited.
And never have I had such an excited little girl, "my happy birthday my happy birthday" she shouted all morning.
When Bella and Connor would fight she would say "remember its my happy birthday!".

When her nap was over she loved her Bubble Guppies on the wall she screamed in elation and had to physically drag everyone of us over to see them individually. My heart was bursting seeing her so happy! Then we got the car packed for the park she kept shouting "my happy birthday its coming its coming". I have never seen her SO excited!

We played at the park even though it was windy and chilly and her brother and sister were so sweet playing with her and telling everyone there "IT'S MY SISTER'S BIRTHDAY TODAY" -Bella.

Shea was pretty proud of his knife skills for the fruit tray!

When we got home it was time to bring the presents down.

I had set up a little Bubble Guppy coloring station, which Sydney was head over heels for. Her excitement all day seriously made me feel like the best Mom ever!

I also rushed to make a little "Fishketball" game from Bubble Guppies. Which wasn't as much of a hit as the coloring.

Before long it was time for CAKE!

Sydney was throwing a fit, while I tried to
attempt a picture she was SO READY to start!

Sydney was thrilled to begin eating the cupcake so when we lit the candles and started singing she was confused and burst into tears, I think the fire was way too scary. After all the other kids had a turn blowing out candles though she got a little braver ...

After yummy cupcakes from NANA it was present time.

"awww baby"

Bella couldn't contain her excitement and let
out of squeal of delight at one point, she was
getting anxious to help Sydney play
with all these new toys.

I feared that the little dollhouse people and
such would be too old for her but of course
she proved me wrong within minutes.
I'm pretty sure SYDNEY'S SECOND BIRTHDAY couldn't have gotten any better.

Well then we let her stay up a little later so she could watch her new episodes of Bubble Guppies, so maybe it did get even better.
