2 Months

UPDATE

Weight: 9 lbs 2 oz (12%)
Height: 22.25 in (60%)
(7 weeks, early 2 month check up. So I'm sure her stats are totally different now. I'm estimating around a pound more.)

Piper did fairly well at the Dr it was a long appt since they were training a new PA and Piper was hungry and didn't like the cold air while getting weighed, or the yucky tasting oral vaccine or the shots but I did feed her before we left so it was worth the wait. Her legs were a little sore till the next day but as long as we were careful she was fine, and didn't even need Tylenol.
In terms of growth Piper still has peach fuzz for hair making her head all the funner to rub. Her eyelashes and eyebrows are so very light they are almost nonexistent to the naked eye. She is in size 1 diapers and mostly wearing 0-3 mon clothing even though they seem a little big still.
Piper is still feeling daily attention and loves nothing more than being held. She loves the sway of movement and being carried by mom. Rarely but sometimes she takes the pacifier which comes in handy. She also takes a formula bottle weekly. I'm still wanting to attempt pumping but haven't found a good time to start quite yet.
In terms of sleeping it's been a bit of a roller coaster, some nights she's up every hr or two and then some nights she sleeps 4 at the beginning of the night and after her morning feeding, I've kept her with me in bed a lot just so I can get some more sleep. So I've worried a lot about her sleeping habits, but just recently she's started sleeping 6-8 hrs at night (~10pm-5/6am) and I'm waking before her ready to feed her before she seems even ready to eat. I'm so excited! Maybe she will be a good sleeper after all. Let's hope she keeps up with this pattern! We have used the wombie and Velcro swaddlers from the start and I swear by them! I think her sleeping is attributed to that swaddlers and her alertness during the day she's enjoying being awake much more and exhausted by bedtime.

LIKES
Smiling and cooing and even the occasional delighted squeal. She loves being social and having people talk to her.
Sometimes she gets really in the mood to stretch out and stand up tall with Mom (with all the weight on her legs).
The football hold.
Laying on her baby gym mat
Vacuum, she falls asleep every time. Despite any fits she was pursuing earlier.
Honestly she has a Love/Hate relationship with tummy time, but it is so darn adorable watching her pick up her head, wiggle and squirm, and catch glimpses of her siblings beside her to cheer her up and match her movements is too cute.
She LOVES diaper changes and afterwards I get a smile out of her without even trying practically every single time. (When she's crying changing her diaper almost always makes her happy immediately. Even if she's hungry.)

DISLIKES
The car seat. Driving in the car isn't her favorite but if we're moving she usually falls asleep, if we're stationary she is NOT HAPPY!
Rough love from Sydney. Sydney is only two and Piper loves giving her smiles just like everyone else but I can tell that she gets a little nervous around her, because Sydney is a little rough; when trying to hold/hug her, pat her, or give her hard/open mouthed kisses. But the times when Sydney is soft and gentle are truly special and loved by Piper I'm sure.

FAVORITES
I love hearing her sleep; grunts, hums, tiny snores/snorts, it's irresistibly sweet.
I love holding her hand while she nurses.
I love her impromptu smiles. There's just nothing like them.
Daddy loves snuggling with Piper as she goes off to sleep for the night.
Daddy loves that Piper is getting more social, and despite her mood he can almost always get a smile out of her and maybe even a coo.
Connor loves when she "laughs" (squeals).
Connor loves when she kicks him in the belly, while he holds her.
Bella loves saying PIPER NO SWIPING, thank you Dora.
Sydney loves "when Piper sleeps", which I find funny that she says that when she gets so thrilled
when "Pipers awake"!

"But I just  want to kiss her"

Piper is simply adored.
