Princess Turns Four

This princess has been anxiously awaiting her birthday's arrival for months and months and months! She has begged and pleaded and asked and asked and finally the day arrived; and although it came all too slowly and passed all too quickly it was a perfect day, fit for a princess.

Bella has been itching to go to the library for a long, long time now and I  haven't taken her. So I made sure that we took a trip to the library on her birthday.

Then we went to the party store to get some things for her party and to let the birthday princess pick her very own balloon. Of course she picked a giant one that rivaled her size, and she loves it!

When asked where she wanted to go for dinner she shouted NOODLES! So we made a fun trip of it and splurged a little at Olive Garden.

She was so excited to get to her party though that her food came in second place.

As we waited for our visitors to arrive she kept asking "Am I going to be surprised? Everyone's going to surprise me?" So after saying yes she would be surprised and being reminded a million times about being surprised I took her upstairs while everyone hid and turned off the lights so that Miss Princess Bella could be fully surprised!

And boy she was. She screamed and screamed in excitement and ran around and into people in a fit full of giggles.

Then it was time for the cake, that my Mom deliciously made and I helped decorate.

We sang and she about fell off her chair in excitement. And blew out her candles and whispered her wish "i wish for string". And with all the ribbons on the table I was fairly certain that her wish would be fulfilled.

Obviously then it was time for cards and presents and I was in shock and awe how much she was head over heels for the cards. Wanting to know what every little thing said and getting so excited about each of them and thanking everyone and she even wanted to read them all over again after they were done so I had to literally take them out of sight so we could move onto presents.

She LOVED her presents. She was extremely grateful for every one of her gifts and thanked and hugged and shouted "I LOVE IT!" about each and every one. I have never seen a child be so excited and grateful and loving about everything (in the past all the kids birthdays usually end in fits and tears at one point or another). But she was the HAPPIEST I have EVER seen her.

Connor picked out his own gift for Bella:
Pink Chocolates and My Little Pony figurines.

After presents was the funnest part, while everyone else enjoyed cake she enjoyed opening and playing with all her gifts.

She was so distracted with present playing that she didn't get a chance to eat her cake with everyone and by the end of the night when it was time to say goodbyes, and pick up toys and get ready for bed, she finally remembered and enjoyed every bite.

And the morning after wasn't too bad either.

Practicing holding her new age up FOUR!
