Happy Fourth of July!
This year we sure had some Stanger fun!
I love holidays and so it was time for some celebration, I made sure it was a day to remember.
We started off our day with the Rexburg Parade. The Stanger's joined us and we watched out in the roaring sun.

Then we went to the Stanger house for donuts and napping.

Exploring the Kitchen |
We had cheeseburgers and watermelon for lunch.
Connor couldn't get enough watermelon all day! |
We watched the boys play football and frisbee. Connor found a rock pile and chose the perfect one. He showed it to everyone and was so proud.
Connor felt a little left out. |
Then we went on a walk, that made us all a little sleepy.
After a game of "Ticket to Ride" we had hot dogs and smores cooked by the backyard fire.

Once it got dark enough, our firework show began! We watched from the inside and it was just as good. We heard everything through an open window and it was a little less scary for Connor.
What a perfect day!
We are so fortunate to live in the USA and it has brought so many blessings to our lives. Our country is so strong and giving to other nations. It is a wonderful opportunity that we have to be a part of such a great part of history, America.
"And I'm proud to be an American,
where at least I know I'm free.
And I won't forget the men who died,
who gave that right to me."
