No Pink

Okay so ultrasound one said "Girl", and that is what were planning. Ultrasound two is scheduled for July 19th. Cross your fingers our baby is confirmed "Girl".

Most people buy pink, when they hear girl. And let me tell you a little goes a long way. 

I have talked to a few friends and they got so sick of putting pink on their baby girl, because that is mostly what they had gotten. 

Let's be honest here, I am no pink barbie girl. So pink has never really been my thing.

So I have decided we are not buying any pink! Pink accents, Yes! But I am really aiming for variety. Browns, purples, yellows, greens, blues. I don't want a pink closet. I know we are going to get some pink stuff from people, so why add to it. Especially since I am not the fondest of pink. And with girl clothes their is just so much more variety. I love it!

Don't get me wrong though, I want lots of dresses and ruffles and bows. An all girl closet.

And lets be honest... if I come across a "to die for" pink dress, I may break my rule. Pink can be done right, right?

As of now our baby girl has one dress.
(Although I will have to add a long sleeve onesie and
 leggings, since it will be a tad chilly in November.) 

PS: I am in LOVE with TARGET! I want everything!
