Shea and I are going to be a Daddy and Mommy in May!

Shea and I are happy to announce our wonderful news ... we are going to have a baby. I am now 19 weeks pregnant... and soon approaching the 5 month marker! WE found out our news in September. I had a few symptoms (fatigue mainly) that led me to believe that I may be pregnant. I couldn’t get the thought out of my head and finally decided to take a pregnancy test at the very end of September, which was positive. We are so excited!

As you can assume the pregnancy made my last semester a little unbearable at times, but somehow I was able to make it through. I had some morning sickness, but for the most part the sick mornings are coming to a close. Thank goodness. Now that school is done and we are soon to be settled in a new apartment I am feeling a great sense of relief.

My due date is May 31st. On Monday (Jan 11th) we hope to find out if our little baby is a boy or girl. We can’t wait for the news it just seems so surreal. I am feeling our tiny one kick all the time now; it is such a magical time. As some of you know and some of you might have guessed I have a bit of a baby belly now. The picture below is me at 18 weeks …



I promise I am not pushing my belly out or sucking in at all, and there are no hidden pillows under my shirt:) Our families are so excited for the new addition to our family. I will be posting again soon!
