Rolling over all the time either way.
Is really liking toys. And bringing them to his mouth. His elephant, and Oreo.
Likes Bathtime. He loves playing in a little water. But also won't last forever. When he is done it is pretty evident.
Loves mirrors!
Starting to like the bumbo especially when entertained; by the mirror, people, or the bath... We even started using the bumbo in the tub, which helped encourage him to like bathtime evenmore. His siblings can even splash around with him now, and Mom doesn't have to worry as much. I also love using the bumbo to have him off the floor so I can get him away from siblings who play a little too rough sometimes.
This is my favorite outfit. It is one of the new things I bought before he was born and I love seeing him in it. |
Still drooling, but no teeth thank goodness! |
Dislikes
He doesn't like getting squashed. I know shocking! But his sisters forget sometimes that when they roll over he doesn't get out of the way and he doesn't like it.
Doesn’t seem to like the baby wrap as much
Pacifier days are gone. There is no point now... he is a binky hater.
Doesn't love getting out of the bath and being cold and changed, but who can blame him.
Sleeping?!?! Bad sleeper= Sleep training (It is the big development this month.) Much to Shea and Dean's dismay we had to stop letting this kid and his dad snuggle each other to bed each night. It was hard enough to consider training a baby but now I have to sleep train my husband too. I do understand though. It is so hard to give up those sweet, sweet baby snuggles.
First night- Nursed, laid him down awake at 10 no fussing slept for 3 hours
Second night- Nursed, laid him down awake at 8 slept for one hour fussed for half hour Shea picked him up and then snuggled him with the binky to sleep, laid him down but woke no fussing slept from 11-4 (5 hrs). Nursed, 4:45-7:15.
Third Night- Nursed, laid down awake at 7:50 cried for an hour! Shea picked him up put him to sleep laid him down at 10 asleep no fussing slept till 3 (5 hrs). Nursed, 3:30-6:30 (3 hrs) Nursed and slept in bed till 7:15
Fourth Night- Nursed, laid down asleep 10-10:15 fussed for 15 mins 10:30-2:30 (4.25 hrs) Nursed laid down asleep 3-7 (4 hrs)
Fifth Night - Nursed and laid down woke up and fussed 8:30-6:15 (9.75 hrs-woke and stirred twice but fell asleep within five minutes)
Sixth Night - Nursed and laid down 8-2 (6 hrs) Nursed fell asleep, laid down asleep 3:30-7 (3.5 hrs) This is an improvement so we will take it.
(*Part of what led us to sleep training is not just his hate for sleep... It was his pinching when nursing. Frequent nurser. Snacking a lot DR says not getting enough of the fatty hind milk to stay full or gain weight. With a real routine/sleeping and eating schedule he will be a better eater and sleeper.)
