Second/Third Trimester

27 Wks

Baby is growing!
We officially have gotten to the point where we are feeling baby move regularly and can have comfort in his constant reminders that he is healthy and happy.
We have also passed the viability stage where now if for some reason he was born he'd have a good chance of survival, which always feels like a relief.

I am feeling so overwhelmingly lucky to say this is proving to be my best pregnancy yet. Between Shea's flexible work schedule and my lack of back/rib pain I just can't complain. Shea is being quite protective and I love it to no end. He is SO EXCITED!

Heartburn and Swelling are my two unwanted companions as of late. But truly that is not much. I drink tons of water and chomp on ice (annoyingly regularly), to ward off headaches and try and keep swelling in check. A warm bath is my best friend. And I indulge in frozen berries and a scoop(or more) of chocolate ice cream every night.

Things are really going by so fast and each week we can't believe we are so far along already and that baby's arrival is just around the corner. But with the kids in school and so many activities going on, it seems we are always busy and honestly that is the way I like it.

Waiting is the hardest part of pregnancy for me.
So I am thrilled this one is flying by.
