Mother's Day 2016

They mean everything to me, they are my world, and I try very hard to be everything they deserve.

Being a Mother is the most self defining gift I have ever been given. It is a gift that continually teaches me patience, truth, love, endurance, compassion, and sacrifice. Every day I feel like I could do better but I also know that even in the times where I am overwhelmed and frustrated (usually with myself) I am eternally grateful for the chance to nurture and love each of my children, even if is imperfectly done I know at the end of the day no matter what each one of my children wants nothing more than to be wrapped in my arms. And I couldn't do it without Shea by my side supporting, encouraging, listening and tending to an ever growing "honey do list" .

Shea made my Mother's Day Weekend everything I wanted and more.

Saturday, we went on a quick shoe spree at Target so I could get the kids and I new dress shoes. Then we headed over to Outback for my Mother's Day dinner which was far from quite and calm perfection but just the right amount of crazy motherhood that I have grown to love and adore.

Sunday, I enjoyed Breakfast in Bed and Flowers!
(Daddy even got our girls flowers too! He always likes to get them a little something too.)
Sacrament Meeting was such a disaster I had to laugh.
But the kids loved working on their Mother's Day cards and loved gathering all their handmade goodies from Church, School, and that Dad helped with so I they could spoil me!
Shea tried to have Sunday be my day off (and it kinda worked).
I enjoyed lounging on the couch, watching shows snuggling my handsome MR and my frequent bouncing children loved spoiling me with kisses.

Bella picked me flowers.

I asked them to clean the bathrooms...
Bella had so much fun she cried when we told her to stop.

Connor's surprise for me!

I am proud to say I am a Mother.
