24+ Wks Pregnant

This fourth pregnancy has brought with it leg cramps, swollen ankles, a dislocated rib, migraines, and a lot more discomfort than any other pregnancy before it. I didn't know how good I had it with the rest. This baby has been the most extreme mover I think there ever was. So extreme in fact that I've found myself on more than one occasion roaming the internet to find some conclusion for her over activity. All signs point to her activity no matter how hyperactive it seems to be all good signs pointing to a happy healthy baby. Which I am trying very hard to appreciate, even during the sleepless nights and the hard kicks that knock the wind out of me daily. Poor Shea has to put up with a lot of complaining and his 6 (almost 7) month pregnant wife slumming it for the most part, the couch is my best friend and I've been feeling like worst Mom ever. But lots and lots of braxton hicks contractions have given me a few scary early labor false alarms along with some spotting, so if taken it easy is whats best I'll use that as my excuse for being lazy.

I am so grateful for Shea doing most of the cooking (and baking) and I am so grateful for him being home so much lately to help with the kids constantly.

Life is good though and I am healthy and baby is doing perfect.

26 Weeks
And yes to all the wonderful strangers in the world, I look tired because I am tired mostly all the time. And thank you baby I officially fit into nothing except sweats, I'm hoping that just means that all my pregnancy clothes from the other kids all shrank terribly :)

The thing that gets me through even the hardest days is the kid's sweet prayers, as they bless and ask that the baby comes soon and is doing good and is happy. They are both outright anxious and excited for baby. Every time I tell them I have to go to the doctor to check on baby, they ask "is baby coming today?" Connor loves to carefully touch my tummy and say "the baby is growing and growing its going to come sooner". Bella loves feeling baby move, even when everything is still, one day she told me "Wow Mom the baby's getting really big! It's growing and growing. It's going to be a BIG baby too that's why your butt is getting so big too!" Haha! I love nothing more in the world then to hear them talk and whisper and love this baby already, it brings me so much peace and love for this sweet little girl we will soon have.
