Happy Thanksgiving!
This year we have so much to be grateful for ... finding a place to live near family, Shea finding a new job, a healthy fourth pregnancy, three happy children that love nothing more than to spend time together (even if they fight through most of it), Connor starting Kindergarten, buying a second car that will fit our whole family, and warm weather.
We have prayed a lot this year and we are feeling very blessed.
Even the kids had a chance to count their blessings ...
What makes you happy?
Connor: "Video Games... Actually My Dad, My Dad that's it My Dad."
Bella: "Playing Legos, my princess legos right there, with Dad."
Above all else we are most grateful for our family, and that we get to be together forever.
Thanksgiving prep began days before Thanksgiving as we shopped and planned and started to cook everything we could before the day.
Amberlee and my Mom baked pies, prepped salads, started rolls; I made cranberry sauce, prepped stuffing, and sweet potatoes, and still we all had plenty of cooking that day.
We started Thanksgiving Day out right, watching the parade and playing bingo. Amberlee did some crafts with the kids and we all played.
Amberlee and I prepped the Turkey with moral support from Mom. And then I left so that we could all get our cooking done before dinner.
Joseph won first place at the table and was eager start.
Turkey, cranberry sauce, mashed potatoes, gravy, green bean casserole, rolls, stuffing, sweet potatoes, almond mandarin salad, and jello salad; it was hard to pick our favorites and my mouth is watering thinking about it all again. The kids "enjoyed" their own version of Thanksgiving dinner.
Bella was worn out and didn't make it till pie.
But we all enjoyed Mom's homemade apple and pecan pies, and of course pumpkin and chocolate silk.

We enjoyed it so much we came over again and had Thanksgiving Feasting Round Two the next day and still had leftovers to take home.
Most Delicious Thanksgiving Yet.
