Maryland is for Crabs?

It is official we are calling Maryland home.
First Shea was asked to go to the Herndon office in Virginia.
While we looked everywhere for housing; talking to 3 different bishops, checking Trulia and Zillow daily, and calling places constantly we were having trouble finding a place for our budget in the Northern VA area.
After a week of training Shea was transferred to the Rockville, MD office. So it ended up being a good thing we hadn't made a commitment to living in Virginia.
Since my parents live in Frederick, MD Shea commuted to work, which ranged from a 30 min to 1.5 hr drive depending on traffic, while we started the search for a home all over again.
We looked everywhere around Rockville all the way to Frederick. We viewed several places and finally the one that worked was in my hometown where I had spent most of my life. I wont lie, Frederick wasn't my first pick. Raising my own family where I was raised seems a little weird, and maybe that is because I have been away from home for awhile and never really pictured coming back to stay. But here we are calling Frederick home.

Connor was our eager cleaning helper. I wont go into details but we got a great steal on the rental price, but it definitely required a little sprucing.

We are on our way, unpacking and making our new place feel like home.
