Before Amberlee and Ryan headed back to the great state of MD we farwelled them with a trip out bowling and mini golfing. It was a lot of fun and we were surprised at how well both Bella and Connor did. Connor is improving enormously with learning to wait your turn. He was in love with bowling but after thr first game he was ready for a few rounds of mini golf. He was a happy boy! Bella was tired and a little scared of the bowling, so she was content to be coddled.
I am kind of in love with this picture because it sums up our little boy; so curious, too excited to sit back, and his love for new adventures.
He was in LOVE with his ball. Practically wanted to take it home with us. Holding it while he waited for his turn was one of my favorite parts, that and his "Good try Mom, but you misseds."
Bella played with Daddy the whole time; talking, giggling, hugging, and tickling.
I tried to get her to go out and bowl but she got so scared she crawled under the table and wouldn't come out no matter how much I begged.
We even got lunch, and Connor was EXTREMELY excited for the FRIES!
Can you tell this girl is hooked on Daddy?
And now you know why ...
Good thing she knows how to share, I love me some Bella hugs :)
This boy coudn't get enough of bowling ... until Daddy said "mini golf?"
While Daddy and Connor went off to have a quick mini golf round we finished the second game. Bella decided to watch some "SuperWhy!" while we bowled.
Finally Bella decided to face her fears and try it out ...
She was such a cutie the entire time :)
We decided to join Connor for ... Glow in the Dark Pirate Mini Golf ... Round 2! He was thrilled, and told us all what to do, he loved pointing out the holes before we got there. And is you didn't make it he helped you out a little, with a hole in one :)
I think our farwell adventure was a success, and although we weren't happy to say goodbyes it was good to have so many happy times to look back on!
Bella is turning into such a little girl... that transformations from baby to big kids is always a bitter sweet moment.
ReplyDeleteI know! It breaks my heart to see little babies now and know that my little ones are done that stage.
