You are my I love you
I am your parent you are my child
I am your quiet place, you are my wild
I am your calm face, you are my giggle
I am your wait, you are my wiggle
I am your audience, you are my clown
I am your London Bridge, you are my falling down
I am your Carrot Sticks, you are my licorice
I am your dandelion, you are my first wish
I am your water wings, you are my deep
I am your open arms, you are my running leap
I am your way home, you are my new path
I am your dry towel, you are my wet bath
I am your dinner you are my chocolate cake
I am your bedtime, you are my wide awake
I am your finish line, you are my race
I am your praying hands, you are my saving grace
I am your favourite book, you are my new lines
I am your nightlight, you are my sunshine
I am your lullaby, you are my peek-a-boo
I am your kiss goodnight, you are my I love you

Sorry I know this is a blurry,
fruit snack bombed picture, but I kind of love it. |
I am so
blessed to be a mother of
two. It can be
incredibly hard, draining, and some moments
s t r e t c h me farther than I thought possible. Life is an
AMAZING journey though, and I have grown more as a
Mother than in any other role. It is said that we
all should be "
serving" in one way or another. I am so
lucky, because overall my role in life right now is serving
Connor and Bella, sometimes I feel as if I am a
slave to their growth.
BUT even though it is hard, I
love it
! Nothing makes me
happier than doing my
best to love them, making sure all their
needs are met,
teaching them as they develop
into
each new stage, and watching my babies
laugh,
smile, and just act plain
silly. Sometimes being a
mom isn't easy, but being a
MOM sure is
rewarding.
AND I wouldn't
trade it for
anything. I am so
grateful that
Heavenly Father sent these
TWO our way!

Mother's Day Spoils. |
Saturday Shea let me plan the day. Sunday Shea made me German Pancakes for breakfast, and then we headed to church, and had dinner at Shea's parents. We made our way home for a special skype call from Elder Martin. I can't tell you how good it was to hear his voice, share stories, laugh, and smile and see his face. We love Daniel and the work he continues to do.
