THIS
TO THIS!
I guess it had something to do with the past 12 months!
Connor turned 1 on Friday, June 3rd! We had a little cake, two little parties (one Shea's parents threw and then one of our own), and presents! Connor got his long awaited highchair and has a new bed! He also got some adorable clothes and some ridiculously laughter inspiring toys! He loved his birthday!

JUNE 8TH
DOCTOR CHECK-UP
Weight: 23 lbs 8 oz (84th percentile)
Height: 29.5 inches (34th percentile)
Our doctor adventure went a little something like this...
Daddy had to work so it was all Mommy. It rained on the way over and Mommy hates driving, especially in the rain. Connor didn't take a good nap, which made for one fussy baby waiting at the doctor. I couldn't let Connor down in the room because he wanted to get into everything, so he insisted on throwing a fit. Then the doctor pocked and prodded Connor to check on his ears, heart, weight, height, temperature, and blood pressure. Then it was time for the true pain. Connor had to get 5 shots. Since he is a big boy they had one male nurse come to hold his legs while the two others put the shots in his thighs and I held his arms. And boy oh boy there were tears and snuggles. It didn't help that his poor legs kept bleeding and the band-aids wouldn't stay on. But at the end of the visit he got a lollipop, Connor's first lollipop which stopped all the crying immediately. And then we came home and Connor got de-stickied. We got all cuddled up and he got all medicated. Finally a looooooooong nap ensued for both Connor and Mommy.
FYI: Daddy is coming next time!
