A Unicorn's Birthday

My Unicorn turned 4! Sydney, you run through life making your own path! Your innocently hilarious, strong and independent, I love that about you! Even if it gives you that defiant fire that scares me quite a lot! You are a fiery princess that is determined to keep up with the boys, and sometimes your certain you are one?!? Although your love for pink and dresses has me unconvinced. Don’t ever stop being you! I wish I could squeeze you and keep you little forever but just like that it seems you’ve turned 4! Let’s hope this new year brings less death defying antics!

WE celebrated the only we know how BIG!

Graduation Brothers

I flew across the country with my family to watch these two boys GRADUATE!
It was so fun and kid free was all the funner... Shea took on the pack at home and survived barely.

We got to meet all their friends, and graduating buddies.

And as the cherry on top of our visit west Daniel and Nicole had a gender reveal.
I'm still in shock that this little brother of mine is going to be a Daddy in August!
And Baby will be a Boy!

Easter

Easter Morning was filled with egg hunting, candy eating, and General Conference listening.
We are so grateful for our Savior Jesus and the multitude of blessings that come from his sacrifice.
The truth of the gospel and the Prophet we have today Russell M Nelson leading our church through exciting and changing times is one of the greatest blessings of the times.

We dyed some eggs and wish we had some to eat, mental note for last year it is fun eating the eggs on Easter instead of dying them. So next year we will dye them a night or two before. We also had a family home evening on Jesus and the Resurrection.

We were also in a bit of a rush to prep Easter dinner for our special Martin guests.
And afterwards the kids played ""pile on too stuffed Joe"!

Today was crazy and jam packed and I missed not having Church to go to, it really just didn't feel the same to me. We will definitely do things a little differently next year. This year we literally got back early, early in the morning returning from Virginia where we were visiting the Stanger's for JJ's baptism. Which made things complicated. But the important thing is that we spent time with those we loved and relished in the truth that our Savior Lives.

Happy Easter!
