Amen

Bella climbed up on the bench next to Daddy last night, she is climbing on everything lately.
Shea had his arms crossed while we were playing a game. Bella proceeds to fold her arms and bow her head and says quietly "Amen" it sounded a little more like "Ama".
But it was the sweetest thing. Seriously we cannot get enough of her, even though some days it seems as if she wishes I was a kangaroo mama so I could carry her around in my pouch all day.
Seeing my little ones take simple teachings, like prayer, to heart is absolutely worth all the hard work that comes with life as a Mom.
It is moments like this that make me fall in love with motherhood all over again!

Windy Weather

Saturday between General Conference sessions we made a trip out to the park. We were thrilled to enjoy some warmer weather and take advantage of snow free playtime. It was colder than we expected and windier so it didn't last long.

So worth it though!

It was Bella's first playground adventure where she was able to enjoy herself, she was brave and extra happy and completely in go,go,go mode. She was in LOVE with our adventure.

Connor LOVED it too. He ran around at full speed saying "I wanna try that." He was so excited to try all the different playground toys. Climbing was his favorite.

We had a seriously AWESOME time!

When we had to leave the park both kids were in fits of squirms and screams. Bella beat her brother in her wails and throw your head back cries.

BUT it didn't take long for both of them to start a well deserved nap in the car.

Easter

Easter Sunday celebrates resurrection of Jesus Christ“I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live”                                                                                                         ( John 11:25).                                                                                   “No words in Christendom mean more to me than those spoken by the angel to the weeping Mary Magdalene and the other Mary when, on the first day of the week, they approached the tomb to care for the body of their Lord. Spoke the angel: ‘Why seek ye the living among the dead? He is not here, but is risen.’ ”  —Thomas S. Monson “ He Is Risen!” Apr. 2010 General Conference                                                                                                              http://www.lds.org/topics/easter?lang=eng

Saturday
Easter Egg Dying
Waiting to start egg dipping . . .

 Magic Drawings . . .
Bella was such  a good observer, she balled when we didn't let her up at the table at first. And when we finally gave in, she proved how good she could be. By not touching and just happily watching all the egg dying fun . . .

Sunday
Easter Morning
The Easter Bunny came!
We were worried they wouldn't know which Easter Baskets were which, but both Bella and Connor went straight to the right ones. We were happy for their excitement and their energy as they pointed to all their favorite treats.

This is what Connor has to say about Easter! When we told him it was the Easter Bunny that left him his basket, he ran to the window and asked "Why did he run away?"

After Church we had naps and an Easter Egg hunt.
And played a little peek-a-boo.
Jelly bean filled eggs were a hit.

Easter Dinner
We shared a big Easter dinner with family and friends in our little home. With yummy desserts afterwards.

I absolutely LOVED spending Easter with my little ones. And as you can see my brother, Ryan, got to have his first Easter home from the mission with us. It was quite special.

Tonight we are having an Easter themed Family Home Evening

True Meaning of Easter
Happy Easter!
