Booster Seat

That's right our Con Man is a high chair graduate!

We went to Red Robin for lunch, a Mommy and Daddy and Connor Date! And Connor got to sit in a booster seat and prove to everyone that he is one big boy. He did so good. No kiddie cup spilling, no fussing, no messes, no crayon eating (well maybe once). He clapped and colored on his bright menu. He sipped out of a straw with no puddles afterwards. He smiled and ate his whole meal - corn dog, apples and fried zucchini. On the way home Connor couldn't resist taking a cat nap. Being good is exhausting!

CHEESEN AROUND

Shea had off work on Tuesday so we took a special visit to Chuck E Cheese's with Con and Joe.

Joseph was a big helper with Con, riding and playing with him too, so he could have lots of fun.

But Daddy and Con were the best of pals, playing lots together!

Connor's favorite game there was the DinoBall. He loved it!

Joseph took Connor in the playplace so he could go down the slide. Con was a little nervous by it all.

We had a lot of fun!

Shea and I enjoyed the Deal or No Deal game the best.

All in all it was quite a work-out chasing Connor all around.

Most of the time he was just a blur, but we are quick so we kept a good eye on him.

We even got SketchIt Pictures done.

First Chuck E Cheese adventure was a success, and Joseph loved every bit of it too!

Night Out

Tuesday we decided it was time for a date night. Our first one here in Maryland. So we had dinner at Fridays, and checked out the movie listings, which all seemed silly and maybe another day it would be worth the matinee price. So after some window shopping and errands we headed back. It was a fun night, having some us time and enjoying the night out on the town.

When we got home we snuggled our children. And our poor Con who is feeling sick with a fever and cold. So he needed those Daddy snuggles.

Bella and I snuggled too. But her's were happy and hungry snuggles!

Poor boy hope his smiles come back soon! Fevers are the worst they are scary and make our boy sluggish and sad. But OH SO cuddly!

Month 2, She Grew!

Bella's second month birthday (December 20th) has passed, and now she is making her way on to mark month three.

At her two month doctor's appointment she received three immunizations and it was rough experience, leaving her with raw red eyes and sore little legs. Poor baby girl, shots and her don't mix.
On to her recent growth update:
She weighed in at 11 pounds (63rd percentile).
And she was 23 inches long (80th percentile).

Update:
Bella still has her blonde little waves of hair, not much more hair yet. She has deep blue eyes. And Blonde eyelashes. She has sensitive skin, so we have to be careful with rashes, whether it is the diaper or the heat. She enjoys kisses and laying on your chest all the time. She is in size 1 diapers, and has been for a while now, and she is wearing 0-3 months clothing. She is using the bumbo now. She is a beautiful lady in the making, we love her so much, the more time we spend with her the more we fall for this fairy girl we have.
Physical Milestones: Her head is wobbly while held sitting; muscle twitches lessen; hands partially unfold; swipes aimlessly
Social Milestones: Starting to coo; studies faces and vaguely mimics facial gestures; tracks moving persons

LIKES
- Lullaby singing
- Tickled toes
- Hanging toys
- Tummy sleeping
- Strong grasps
- Talking friends
- Connor's love (hugs, kisses, and holds)
- Vacuum noise (blow dryer or treadmill too)
- Daddy pats

DISLIKES
- BATHS!
- Loud noises that make her jump
- Waking up from her dreams
- Explosions, not big bang fiery ones, but the big diaper ones. She is now at the "my daughter needs a wearable ziploc bag, so her clothes don't get stained every few hours" stage. Oh joy. Poor girl she hates the changing and the cold wipes and the baths that insue.
- Cold hands that try and touch her

MOMMY and DADDY's favorite Bella-isims:
- Smiling on purpose big full mouthed grins
- She is getting so good during diaper changes, looking off and exploring her surroundings with her eyes all the time
- Her beautiful wide eyes
- Her open and closed hands
- We love to rub our noses on her soft cheeks and feel her warm skin
- Smelling her baby breath and tender skin is the best!
- And my all time favorite, laughing in her sleep her peaceful and soft laugh melts me.
